Night in Gros Morne

Night in Gros Morne... It was good, good hotel, good service.... but what preceded it was really funny! To understand this I will describe the whole picture of what happened. It was our first time in this place; it is a really an unknown place almost wild, not almost - it is a wild place: no people, no cities, no gas stations at all. We thought: it's OK, it's Canada, what can happen?
When we realized that it was too late to have a hike in the Western Brook pond we just looked around. It was amazing !!!

By the time when we came back to the car it was getting dark.  We looked at the map and found the closest village to spend a night at was 20 km from our point. Not too bad. But the name of the small town was Cow Head. First, we did not think about the strangest name of the village, we just wanted to find people and a place to stay.  During our drive to Cow Head we started to joke about the name... When we came closer,  was dark - all dark.  Can you imagine? Dark, no one around, on the one side was the ocean, on the other the forest and mountains, and small city with a name Cow Head ahead..... I was truly scared; I had been drawing pictures from movies like "Wrong Tern" or "The Village"....  When couple of hundreds meters were left to village we both were quiet.... But it was a really nice and cute place to stay! We forgot our thoughts about the name and movies :-) We spend a night  at the Shallow Bay Motel; neat and comfortable and respectful stuff. I recommend it for all tourists in this area!!!

Gros Morne

Once upon a time, my boyfriend came home and said - Let's go to Gros Morne!  I was in shock! We didn't prepared things, we didn't check and reserve any hotel to stay! After a few second of reflection, I said: Let's go :-)  It was the most spontaneous trip in my life, but in the same time, the most memorable and remarkable!

It was early in September, so weather was perfect! On Friday night, we went online to find out about this place: what do we want to see, how can we get where, and where we can stay for a night. It was easy to find information, especially know that these park is really popular and gorgeous. You can read here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gros_Morne_National_Park

Saturday morning, we got in the car and started our impulsive trip :-)
We stopped for a lunch in Gander and visited Aviation museum. They had build museum from some parts of a plane; kind a cool! Look at it  your self:

Around the museum, you can see different kind of old planes. I upload just one because if I will upload all of planes it's not going to be interesting for you guys to see it with your own eyes!!!

Next, we saw an insectarium, but unfortunately it was closed already (we spend seven hours in our way). We decided to visit these place on our way back.

When we reached one of our goals Western Brook pond  (you can read info here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_Brook_Pond), there was sunset. It was a long way :-)

Of course, we could not see any of place that we saw on Internet the day before because of dark time. The second goal was to visit Shallow Bay Beach. As you can imaging, sunset, famous beach, romantic.... but we wanted to find place to stay first. These is a different and funny story....

February 14

These days I've been trying several things what can I do with my page and how it can look like .... so many options and so many designs.... Please, don't be surprised if I will change my blog from time to time :-)  Any way... My head returned to normal and I began my Buzz :-)

Few days ago was the most warmth celebration in the year for loving each other couples. The history of Valentine's_Day you can find here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valentine's_Day.

So, I'm going to tell you how easy we can  turn typical breakfast to holiday breakfast and what I get instead.... :-) I think it's the most known, popular, and easiest thing to start this lovely day.  First of all, we need  eggs and sausages. How many? It depends of you and your better half.  I and my boyfriend have a normal appetite, thus I took 2 eggs and 2 sausages:

Next, I cut the sausage in half, but not quite! Important thing - leave part of sausages uncut! Create from that a two part shape of a heart, seal the ends with a toothpick, fry on one side, turn over and pour eggs into the sausage, fry till readiness. Some people love underdone :-) We are ready to wake up our boyfriends :-)

Isn't it a cute breakfast for a couple on the Valentine's day, is itn? And at the end of the day I get this:

Thank you for spending some time and reading my Buzz... I hope you like it :-)
